New Delhi: The name of the new President of India will be announced today on July 21. Voting for the presidential election was held on July 18. The counting of votes will begin at 11 am on Thursday at Parliament House. The NDA has fielded Draupadi Murmu, while the opposition has fielded Yashwant Sinha for the post. Though the results are yet to be announced, preparations have begun for her victory in Draupadi Murmu's home town of Rairangpur.

In fact, NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu has a strong chance of victory. Her hometown is located in Rairangpur in Odisha. Preparations are going on for the celebrations on a large scale. Sweets are being made at many places and people from many nearby villages, including his village, have planned victory processions and tribal dances. At the same time, the local BJP unit is preparing for celebrations after the announcement of the election results. Local BJP leader Tapan Mahanta said, "We are making 20,000 laddoos and 100 banners have been put up to congratulate Murmu.'' On the other hand, the headmaster of the school where Murmu studied said that Murmu was a bright student and wanted to serve the people.

While talking to Media, he said, "From 1968 to 1970, I was the head teacher there when she was studying in school. We feel very proud of Draupadi Murmu. I remember once asking all the students what they wanted to do. Many of the children gave their own answers, but Murmu said she wanted to serve the people.'' Draupadi Murmu's aunt Saraswati Murmu has said that Draupadi has proved what women can do. She's struggled a lot all her life. It is the result of relentless struggle. She is extremely humble and grounded in nature. We are always together in happiness and sorrow. In our time, we girls were always told what we would do by reading and writing. People asked her what she would be able to do. Today she has proved to them what she can do.
