Ajmer: In the declared by-election to the post of Ward-10 of a Panchayat Committee member under Pisangan Block, the BJP candidate retained his seat by winning 899 votes. Out of 2857 votes cast, BJP candidate Bhimraj Lakhpati got 1864 votes, Congress candidate Abdul Aziz got 965 votes and Nota got 28 votes.

Thus, the BJP's Lakhpati won by 899 votes. Election Officer Samdarsingh Bhati administered the oath of office and secrecy with the handing over of the election certificate to The Vijay candidate Lakhpati. Counting began at 8.00 a.m. in the auditorium of the sub-division headquarters under the care of Election Officer Samdarsingh Bhati and Assistant Electoral Officer Kishnaram Chaudhary. During the five rounds of counting, the BJP took the lead in each round and finally won.

On record the victory of BJP candidate Bhivraj Lakhpati, Mangliawas Mandal President Rampal Singh Rathore, Pisangan Mandal President Munnalal Kumavat, Pradhan Ashok Singh Rawat, Jethana Sarpanch Pannalal Gana, General Minister Narendra Gangwal, Bajyumo President Sanjay Soni, District Council Member Dinesh Several leaders, including Prajapat, Upsarpanch Rakesh Puri, reached the sub-division headquarters and greeted Bhivraj Lakhpati with sweets and cheered.
