New Delhi: The Modi government at the Centre has completed 7 years. BJP National President JP Nadda addressed senior party leaders on the occasion. In his address, he praised the Modi government for its achievements such as 'Ram Mandir Nirman', 'Removal of Article 370' and 'Implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).' At the same time, he praised the Modi government for resolving the Bodo conflict even in the midst of the Corona crisis and introducing several welfare schemes among citizens.

Addressing other BJP leaders including chief ministers and cabinet ministers of party territories, Nadda said article 370 was a hurdle in the development of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh in the early days. "Dr. Singh, who sacrificed his life for our inspiration and the unity of India and stood fearlessly to revoke Article 370. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had hinted at this”.

JP Nadda further said that "Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had warned the then PM Jawaharlal Nehru on the adverse effects of Article 370 and "How it will create separatism", but Pandit Nehru refused to accept it. But since the days of jansangh and since the inception of the BJP, we stuck to the demand for the removal of Article 370 and continued our dispute against it.”
