On Saturday, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee leader Girish Chodankar accused the BJP of not fulfilling the promise of the late Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. He said that he did not fulfill his promise to amend the rule related to making the State Election Commission in-charge of delimitation and reservation of assembly constituencies. He said that instead of a rotation-based system of the Indian Constitution, he is making it reserved. It makes fun of the Constitution and the voters of Goa.

In his statement, he further said that the Congress did not follow a transparent process for delimitation and reservation of assembly constituencies. He also alleged that the BJP has misused the exercise of reserving 30 out of 50 seats, in which only 20 have to be contested from the general category.
