BJP High Command wants Jatt face as State President in Haryana

To woo Jatts in Haryana, BJP is trying to crown a Jatt face in the post of state president, while the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is adamant on the name of non-Jatt. Captain Abhimanyu is the first choice of Home Minister Amit Shah. Although Abhimanyu has lost the election.

National President JP Nadda is supporting the name of former Minister Om Prakash Dhankhar. Dhankar has definitely lost the election from Badli, but Nadda's soft corner is for Dhankar. The high command wants to keep the Jatt face ahead in the state. Therefore, instead of any symbolic face, a Jatt face should come forward, which is a bigger name than former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Chautala.

Name of Chaudhary Birendra Singh has also been considered, but the Sangh does not agree on the name of Birendra Singh. Sangh says that a person from outside cannot be made the state president. Birendra Singh has come from Congress. The second reason is that Chaudhary Birendra Singh does not meet the age criteria of the party.

His son Vijender Singh's name is being considered fixed for the post of minister. It is not possible to give two posts from the same family. The name of Housing Board Chairman Sandeep Joshi has also come forward as a non-Jatt face, but it has been argued in his name that DP Vats has been sent to Rajya Sabha to represent Brahmins. There is no agreement on Joshi's name.
