Despite the decrease in crude oil prices across the world, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party National President and his party's MLA took a bicycle on the road in protest against the continuous increase in the price of diesel and petrol in India. All of them were going to demonstrate at gate number seven of the Vidhan Bhavan that the police stopped them.

Om Prakash Rajbhar, who was a cabinet minister in the Yogi Adityanath government, was going to Vidhan Bhavan with his party MLAs and workers on a bicycle. His cycle was in protest against the increased prices of petrol diesel in March. The police stopped them before reaching Vidhan Bhavan. They were stopped during lockdown-5.0 citing the imposition of Section 144 in the city. After this, his memorandum was taken.

On Thursday, in Lucknow, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party President Om Prakash Rajbhar, who was going towards Vidhan Bhavan to protest against the increased prices of petrol diesel, was stopped by the police outside his residence and advised not to perform. During this, Rajbhar expressed his opposition by cycling on the road.

Police had barricaded the street even before they left their residence. Rajbhar and his party's MLAs and activists demanded from the central government that the increase in petrol and diesel prices should be stopped. Rajbhar said that increasing the price of diesel is affecting the income of farmers. The government should immediately take cognizance of this.
