In the Lok Sabha during the Zero Hour, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary of the Congress said that the BJP and the Central Government are plotting to end the reservation. Where the biggest example of this is that the BJP government of Uttarakhand challenged the decision of the State High Court in which the state government was directed to give reservation. MPs of DMK KA Raja, BSP and CPI (M) also accused the government of plotting against reservation. On this, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi and Union Minister Arjun Meghwal said that the matter is of the year 2012 when the Congress government was in the state.
