Begusarai: Union Minister Giriraj Singh has reacted to the statement made by Congress veteran leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Section 370. BJP firebrand leader Giriraj Singh has said that Chidambaram speaks the language of appeasement. 

Giriraj Singh said that the faces of leaders like Chidambaram and Ghulam Nabi Azad have been exposed. Giriraj Singh said that the removal of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir has brought a wave of happiness across the country. He said the decision is for the country's interest. The decision is for the benefit of the lower strata of the society living in Kashmir, the people from Pakistan and those who were not getting justice. Congress veteran and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram has attacked PM Modi and the BJP over the removal of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

P Chidambaram has alleged that there are more Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir and therefore the Central Government has removed Section 370 from there. Speaking at an event in Chennai, Chidambaram said, "If Jammu and Kashmir were a Hindu-dominated state, the BJP would not have taken away the special status of the state. But Kashmir has a Muslim majority, so they abolished this section."
