Indore: Senior BJP leader and Gopi Krishna Nema’s house was attacked by a group of unidentified men in Chhatripura area on Monday evening. The attackers were armed with swords and iron rods and they damaged the window glasses and flower pots there and fled the scene. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV installed there.
The police have registered a case against the men and started a search for them. No arrest has been made till the filing of the report. According to the police, the incident took place at around 5.30 pm at Nema’s place near Rajmohalla Square. Three people named Ashvin, Karan, Arun and their accomplices were booked by the police for attacking the house of Nema. A preliminary investigation revealed that there was no dispute of Nema with anyone.
The accused were following some persons for the attack when the persons entered the house of Nema to save themselves when the accused also entered Nema’s place and they damaged window glass and flower pots there. The accused were having sword and iron rods. The number of men was more than two dozen due to which the panic like the situation prevailed there after the incident.
