Lucknow: There has been a political atmosphere in Uttar Pradesh for a long time regarding Brahmin society. It has been continuously raising the voice that the Brahmin society in UP is angry with the present state government. On this issue, now a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has given such a statement which can cause controversy. BJP leader Haridwar Dubey has asked the question of Brahmins' displeasure with BJP, where will the Brahmin father-in-law go. Will go to BJP only. Brahmins are forced into BJP. ''
Haridwar Dubey has given this statement at a time when he is contesting the election of Rajya Sabha MP. The BJP has also added the name of Haridwar Dubey to its eight candidates. Today, all the eight candidates went to the assembly and also filed their nomination. When Dubey was questioned about the displeasure of the Brahmins, he was seen leaking the dignity of words. Haridwar Dubey, using the unfriendly language for Brahmins, even said that where else will it go, his compulsion to come to BJP. Haridwar Dubey has also been an MLA twice.
There have been allegations against the Brahmins in UP for not being justice in the present UP government. Other opposition parties, including the Congress, have been raising the issue prominently. Even the encounter of Vikas Dubey, the mastermind of the Kanpur shootout, was seen as an action against the Brahmins on the government's action.
