New Delhi: On the one hand, doctors of municipal hospitals in the country's capital Delhi are on strike for non-payment of salary for several months, while there is a fierce fight over the funds in Delhi's Kejriwal government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. On Monday, the three mayors of the Municipal Corporation sat on a sit-in outside the CM residence, while on Tuesday, CM Arvind Kejriwal targeted the Municipal Corporation fiercely.
CM Kejriwal said that the Delhi government has given as much fund as was constituted. The Central Government is yet to pay Rs 12,000 crore of the grant to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Talking about the doctors' strike, CM Kejriwal said that some doctors of the Municipal Corporation are sitting on strike, they have not received a salary for many months.
Kejriwal said that the doctors who protected our family and our lives by putting their lives in the crisis of Corona, did not get the salary for many months of our service, it is not right. This is a very sensitive matter. There should not be any politics on this issue. The effort of all should be how to get those doctors their salaries.
