Samastipur: A BJP leader's son was hacked to death with a sharp weapon on the night of Durga Puja from Bihar's Samastipur. The murder has created panic in the area. After receiving the news, people reached the spot in big statistics. After getting information, the police reached the spot and inspected the spot. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.

In fact, Sandeep had left to see the Durga Puja fair on Tuesday night. He is the son of BJP leader, former block Pramukh Paltan Ram, who lives in Hajpurwa under the Warisnagar police station area of the district. He did not return home even after a long time. His phone was also switched off. The family went out to look for him at night, but could not find him.

After that, on Wednesday morning, people saw the body lying on the Banswadi side near Kusaiya Khajuri's main road. The police were then informed. The mob gathered at the spot identified the deceased as Sandeep. The police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Locals stopped the police from lifting the body. People said that the dog squad should be called and investigated. After this, the police persuaded the people and took possession of the body and then sent it for post-mortem. The reason behind the murder of Sandeep, son of the BJP leader, is yet to be ascertained. The ASI of Warisnagar police station said that the investigation of the case is going on. Soon the culprits will be caught.
