The girl was raped and then strangled to death in the Bhogaon police station area of Mainpuri. The accused then got away by letting his body hang from the noose. The police, who reached the spot, sent the body for postmortem and started taking legal action in advance.
It was said that a BA second-year student who lived in the village of Sheesham in the Bhogaon police station area of Mainpuri with her 15-year-old sister was in the house. His father went to work in Mainpuri, and his mother went to work in Agra. During this time, a villager named Pushpendra Lodhi, who was 25 years old, went into the house where the girl was alone. He held the girl as a prisoner and then raped her.
After the murder, the suspect tied his body to a noose and locked the door from the outside to get away.
