Chandigarh: Aseem Goel, an MLA of the ruling BJP in Haryana, along with some others, has taken an oath to make India a Hindu nation. The oath talks about making or taking any sacrifice if required for it. The swearing-in ceremony was held on Sunday and a video of the incident is going viral on social media.

The oath was administered by Sudarshan News channel chief Suresh Chavhanke, who is facing a court trial in the inflammatory speech case, in the presence of hundreds of people at the event. After the event, Chavanke also tweeted a video clip on his Twitter account in which he himself, BJP MLA from Ambala City Aseem Goel and others can be heard jointly saying that we are committed to making Hindustan a Hindu Rashtra and keeping it a Hindu Rashtra.  

"If need be, we will make sacrifices or if need be, but we will declare the country a Hindu Rashtra at any cost. May our ancestors and God give us the strength to achieve our goals. Slogans in support of Hindu Rashtra were also raised on the occasion and the MLA was seen raising both hands with others raised slogans.''
