Coronavirus is spreading rapidly after lockdown relaxation. At the same time, BJP member Devendra Pratap Singh has written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the Legislative Council during Coronavirus infection. The case is about the charge of corruption and commission Khori in distribution of ration kits during the lockdown of Ajay Kumar Dwivedi, Chief Development Officer of Sonbhadra. He has demanded a high-level inquiry into the matter from the Chief Minister.

In his statement, he has said that to determine the rate of ration kit, the committee constituted by the District Magistrate of Sonbhadra fixed the price of ration kit at Rs 550 per kit. The District Magistrate appointed the CDO as the Nodal Officer for purchasing and distributing ration kits. On 27 March, the CDO directed seven industrial groups to provide 17500 ration kits under the head of corporate social responsibility. The CDO is also the nodal officer of CSR in the district. He used his influence to pressure the companies to buy rations from their favorite firms at a higher rate and made them pay to the firms.

For your information, let us tell you that Lanco Anpara Power purchased 2108 ration kits from Global Indian Society for a payment of Rs 37.48 lakh. He paid the ration kit purchased at the rate of Rs 765 per kit. NTPC Shaktinagar also paid 2106 ration kits to the same firm at the rate of Rs 705. NTPC Rihand Nagar paid Rs 593 for some ration kits and Rs 605 per kit for some.
