HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Police were busy working putting together elaborate security plans for the BJP's national executive meeting on July 2-3 and the public event that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the senior leadership of the party would be attending.
The national executive will be held in the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) in Hitec City, and key leaders like BJP national president J.P. Nadda, state chief ministers, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate.
On July 3, following the conclusion of the national executive, the Prime Minister will speak at a public meeteing that the BJP will host at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad.
The city police would deploy a adequate amount of resources, according to Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand. Additional forces have also been placed on standby, and Quick Response Teams will be activated. Traffic and law enforcement officers were directed to strictly follow the SPG's Blue Book when creating any security arrangements "Anand said.
In the city limits, sniper deployment, anti-sabotage inspections, roof-top watch, mufti gatherings, route maps, trial runs, and multi-layer security plans are being made. All attendees to the open meeting will be frisked, and only those with legitimate passes will be permitted to attend. To handle any unplanned protests, complex precautions will be in place.
