Now amidst all this, Uttar Pradesh BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh has given a statement saying, 'Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar has passed away today. A personality like her comes once in centuries. Due to this sad news, today manifesto 2022 schedule has been postponed, the next date will be announced soon. Other political programs will remain the same.

According to reports that emerged, in Lucknow, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, CM Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM KP Maurya and UP BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh observed a two-minute silence to pay homage to Lata Mangeshkar. Due to the demise of Lata Mangeshkar today, the BJP's manifesto 2022 schedule for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections has been postponed and the next date regarding its announcement will be announced soon. On the other hand, actor Anupam Kher and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar have reached Lata Mangeshkar's house in Prabhu Kunj.

Soon, the body of Lata Mangeshkar will be brought to her house. BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla has issued a statement saying, "'In honour of Lata Mangeshkar, our players will tie a black band in the match between India and The West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad today. The national flag will be half-masted.''
