It is currently being considered that Daman and Diu BJP President Gopal Tandel has resigned from his post. His resignation has been accepted by the same BJP president Amit Shah. A sex tape of former MP Tandel was recently viral on social media, following which he resigned from his post.

According to sources, a 36-second video of Gopal Tandel went viral. In this video, he is seen in an objectionable position with a woman. Many claims were being made regarding the video. Many people were calling it an old video, while some described it as a case of a honeytrap. The former 65-year-old MP, Gopal Tandel, called his video viral with the woman a fake. Tandel claims that the video is fake and only some BJP leaders have released it so that the hopes of not making Diu-Daman BJP president again are being raised.

It has also been revealed that Gopal Tandel has also made a police complaint against some leaders of his party. Gopal Tandel is being said to be a prominent face of Daman and Diu.
