PATNA: Two MLAs, Bhai Virendra from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Sanjay Saraogi of the Bharatiya Janata party ( BJP, on Tuesday entered into a verbal fight in the Bihar Assembly premises.
The situation became so tense that media persons on the scene were forced to intercede to bring the quarrelling MLAs to a halt. Virendra, an RJD MLA from Maner, and Saraogi, a BJP member from the Darbhanga Assembly constituency, had a disagreement over a matter. Both made threats and used derogatory language toward one another. Virendra threatened Saraogi, saying that he would "publicly beat him." He also used derogatory language. Sanjay Saraogi responded, telling him to keep his mouth shut.
Bhai Virendra and Sanjay Saraogi appeared at the Bihar Vidhan Sabha on the second day of the winter session to take part in the proceedings. They were each interacting with members of the media in their own way. They quickly became embroiled in a verbal brawl because they were standing so close together.
