According to media reports, he has said that Bengal has become a stronghold of terrorists. BJP state president Dilip Ghosh did not stop at this. He has also said that the situation of the state is worse than Kashmir. He argued for information about Al Qaeda's network. BJP state president said that recently some people related to terrorist organization Al Qaeda in Cooch Behar have been identified. They are members of Al Qaeda. He said that his network has grown in West Bengal.

Significantly, Cooch Behar also comes in North Bengal. Dilip Ghosh's convoy was attacked in Alipurduar city of North Bengal when he was attending a function and going to another program. MLA Wilson Champamari's car was damaged in the attack on BJP state president's convoy. This incident happened recently.
