These COVID times from March 2020 has brought out the humanitarian side of various philanthropists and individuals in giving back their bit to the society. One such person from Tamil Nadu is a Teacher cum Banker turned Politician Pramila Sampat. Pramila Sampat was appointed as Treasurer of BJP’s Mahila Morcha(Women’s Wing) in the Tamil Nadu state few months back. 

Ever since, she took up a political responsibility for the first time in her life, she has been running around doing political activities. Importantly her service to people of her state owing to the COVID pandemic is hailed as commendable by various quarters. 

To begin with she assisted buying 11 tricycles for the physically challenged people from Chennai who are suffering from the COVID crisis.

Pramila Sampat later arranged 60,000 N95 masks worth Rs.40  Lakhs and gave it to BJP Tamilnadu President L Murugan who in turn distributed them to the people through the party machinery during his Vel Yatra in the state

.

Thereafter Pramila helped her party arrange 1000 kits consisting of provisions & basic essentials like mask, sanitizers etc., which were distributed to the Patinampakkam slum of Saidapet. The kits were distributed by BJP Mahila Morcha National President Vanathi Srinivasan.

These COVID times has produced so many humanitarian gestures that will linger for a long period and BJP Leader Pramila Sampat’s noble gesture in helping out people of Tamil Nadu through various means is indeed commendable and praiseworth.
