Kolkata: BJP chief JP Nadda is on a visit to West Bengal these days. At the same time, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has objected to the BJP using the National Library in Kolkata for political meetings. Jai Prakash Majumdar, who recently switched over to the TMC from the BJP, has said that as per the library's rules, it cannot be used for political purposes. Let me tell you that Majumdar is now the vice-president of tmc in the state.

Majumdar has said that it is a central government-run institution, but it has been entered through the back door. It is a heritage and it is necessary to be safe. These people are holding meetings here in the name of social organization and flouting the rules. Let us know that the BJP is going to hold a meeting of the state executive on Wednesday in the same library. J P Nadda will also try to allay the discontent among the West Bengal BJP leaders through this meeting.

The BJP president is holding the meeting after BJP MPs Babul Supriyo and Arjun Singh left the party. On Wednesday, BJP president Chinsura and Chandannagar had arrived. Talking to the media, BJP MP Saumitra Khan said that JP Nadda is holding a meeting to get meaningful results in the state in 2024. After visiting the Vande Mataram Bhawan in Chinsura, the BJP chief paid tributes to writer Bankim Chandra Chatterjee.
