Dehradun: Uttarakhand is going to have the votes next year. The political corridors have again intensified to discuss whether the BJP's top leadership may again change the CM in Uttarakhand. Party national president JP Nadda and home minister Amit Shah have also met CM Tirath Singh Rawat on Wednesday.
According to media reports, the BJP high command is not confident that Tirath Singh Rawat will win the election. Rawat took over the reins of this hill state in April. In that case, they will have to become MLA before 10th September. Because it is expiring for six months and it seems to be sleepless nights for the BJP leadership. Rawat held a meeting with BJP chief JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah late on Wednesday evening but no final decision has been taken on his future.
The BJP is likely to appoint a new CM to avoid the last-minute elections. In view of other options before the party, several candidates have camped in the national capital. The party high command seems to be in no mood to rush for the bypolls as it has concluded that the Gangotri seat is not safe for Rawat. The STATE UNIT of the BJP also does not know what is happening as the leaders there have apparently not been kept in the loop.
