New Delhi: The results of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD Election) have been declared and Delhi's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has registered a landslide victory in this election. Results for all 250 wards are out and AAP has won 134 wards. Meanwhile, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has made serious allegations against the BJP.

Sisodia has alleged that the BJP is trying to take their corporators, but this will not happen. Sisodia said that no corporator of 'AAP' will come under the temptation of the BJP. Sisodia said that the newly elected councilors have been instructed to record any such phone call they receive. Meanwhile, even after the election defeat, a BJP leader has said that the post of mayor is an open race and whoever has the numbers can choose their mayor.

On the other hand, BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya has said that the elected councilors will vote for the mayor's election and Chandigarh also has a BJP mayor. Although the Aam Aadmi Party became the largest party with 14 seats in the 35-seat Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, they could not elect their own mayor due to lack of a majority. On the other hand, another BJP leader Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga claimed that Delhi will once again have a BJP mayor.
