New Delhi: The series of allegations and counter-allegations in political parties has intensified over the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD elections). As top BJP leaders prepare for a roadshow in Delhi on Sunday, Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal said the BJP will inundate Delhi with its "raja-maharajas" and the people will give them a befitting reply.

Top BJP leaders, including BJP chief JP Nadda, Union ministers, and chief ministers of party-ruled states, will attend 14 roadshows in the city ahead of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections. On this, Kejriwal said in a tweet, 'Today BJP is going to inundate Delhi. Many of their raja-maharajas are attacking Delhi from all sides with their own armies, but just as the people of Delhi have bravely faced the attacks of BJP and their LG, the people of Delhi will give them a befitting reply even today.' Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma are among the leaders who will attend the BJP's roadshow.

Calling it a "super Sunday", Delhi BJP national general secretary Kuljit Singh Chahal had said Nadda will campaign in Sangam Vihar here. Union ministers including Rajnath Singh, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hardeep Singh Puri, Jitendra Singh, and Meenakshi Lekhi will also participate in roadshows in various fields, he said. Voting for 250 wards of MCD elections will be held on December 4 and the counting of votes will take place on December 7.
