Sagar: The politics over the vandalism of the selfie point at Khurai in Sagar district of MP has heated up. Bjp and Congress workers came face to face. Subsequently, BJP workers led by mla of the area and state urban development and housing minister Bhupendra Singh staged a dharna. Demanded action against congress workers.

On Thursday, Congress workers staged a protest against vandalism of the selfie point in Khurai. When bhupendra singh supporters also came to the tehsil office to submit a memorandum demanding an inquiry. There was a confrontation between the workers of both the parties. BJP workers allege that the selfie point was vandalised by Congressmen and now politics is being done in the matter. In the videos of the case that have surfaced, it is clear that the BJP workers tried to attack the Congressmen by breaking the security cordon of the police. The police also resorted to mild lathicharge to disperse the crowd. On this issue also, the two sides came face to face.

The same two sides were shouting slogans in front of each other. When minister Bhupendra Singh reached the spot, BJP workers took the law into their own hands. He tried to attack the Congressmen by pushing the police. Due to this, the police used force to remove the Congressmen. It is alleged that the vehicles of congressmen have also been vandalized. Thereafter, the Minister and other workers sat on a dharna demanding the arrest of the Congressmen.
