BLACKPINK is officially back with another comeback! The girl group dropped a thrilling video titled ‘BORN PINK’ announcement trailer at midnight KST on August 1 (July 31 at 8:30 pm IST), the next few months are going to be full of surprises and  Pinkness for the BLINKs’. 

The girl group under YG Entertainment will be dropping a single this month in August, which will be followed by the Girl Group's new album release next month in September. In October, they will then be going on a world tour. The upcoming comeback will mark the group’s first comeback in two years. The previous group's comeback was in October 2020, when the girl group had dropped their first full-length album ‘THE ALBUM’, along with its lead single, ‘Lovesick Girls’. 

BLACKPINK previously released a special track ‘READY FOR LOVE’ on July 29, as part of their collab ‘BLACKPINK X PUBG MOBILE 2022 IN-GAME CONCERT: [THE VIRTUAL]' project. The virtual concert was followed by a music video staring at the virtual avatars of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. With the release of the upcoming album the BLINKs’long awaited wait will finally be over. 

YG Entertainment revealed the group was in the middle of shooting a music video for their upcoming comeback. The agency further went on to share, “The highest production cost ever was spent [for creating the music video]. The whole process is going smoothly as it was meticulously prepared under a thorough plan.”
