BLACKPINK’s recently released collaborative track Ready For Love has already broken records! Released on July 29 the MV became the first girl group MV to surpass 1 million views on YouTube in 2022. Ready For Love is an attractive house-pop instrumental with an EDM chorus displaying the avatars of the girls dancing to it. The song is in collaboration with the PUBG Mobile platform. 

The music video consists of the members with their melodious voices and their virtual counterparts on the screen. The MV displays the members going through ups and downs in their dimensions of the world. The visuals of the video were breathtaking and the girls look simply dreamy. The beats were super groovy with a catchy chorus that will be stuck in your head.

On the other hand, YG Entertainment the band’s record label announced in a statement that the group is nearing the end of recording a new album. The announcement also said that BLACKPINK's upcoming album would be released the following month, that is in August. The official release date may be out anytime.

Before this comeback, BLACKPINK released the studio album ‘THE ALBUM’ in October 2020 with the lead song 'How You Like That.' The girls have been focusing a lot on solo activities as well. While Lisa created history recently by being the only soloist to be nominated in the Best K-pop category at the VMAs, Jisoo, Jennie and Rose are busy with their individual careers as well.

BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. The girl group debuted in August 2016 with their single album ‘Square One’, which featured ‘Whistle’ and ‘Boombayah’.
