Anurag Kashyap is one of the renowned filmmakers in Bollywood remains in news for his controversial statement. The director once again took to social media to praise a film Bakasuran. As soon as it caught the eyes of people they started criticizing the veteran director and trolling him.

Anurag Kashyap wrote, "#Bakasuran Hearing good word of mouth for this movie in South...Congrats my friend @natty_nataraj & Dir @selvaraghavan." Natarajan Subramaniam commented, “Thank you so so much Anuraag… (folded hands emojis).” This does not go well with the social media users and they started trolling him. One user wrote, “It's a castiest Sanghi guys movie. Why you market it without knowing the movie or it's people's background.”

Another wrote, "Promoting a pathetic movie just because Natraj is your friend?? unexpected sir." Third one wrote, "Promoting a movie that essentially pushes women back to the kitchen and promotes a what were you wearing to provoke men culture? Wow your bar has gone so low now??"  Another wrote,"Unexpected from you sir...most regressive movie blaming women for sexual offenses... kindly watch it and remove the tweet."

Speaking about Bakasuran, The film stars Selvaraghavan, Tharakshi, Natarajan Subramaniam (Natty) and Gunanithi among others. The film has also been produced by Mohan G. The film released on Friday. The music for the film has been composed by Sam C S.
