A blast shattered in coal mine in north region of China's inner Mongolia autonomous region, killing 53 people. As per the reports, "The explosion took place yesterday at Baoma Mining Co Ltd in Yuanbaoshan district in the city of Chifeng."

Around 181 people were working in the underground area where the explosion took place and out of them 149 managed to run to a safer places. The rescue team includes at least 268 police men and 119 rescuers.

Past week a similar accident occured at a coal mine killing 21 workers.
