Patna: A boiler blast took place at a iron rod factory in Bihar's capital Patna on Monday. About nine workers have been injured in the incident. All the injured workers were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Four workers sustained minor injuries in the boiler blast while five workers suffered more than 50 per cent burn injuries.
The incident is said to have occurred on Monday when all the workers were working at the Neelkamal iron rod factory in the river police station area. In the meantime, the boiler burst due to a furnace jam. In the meantime, the workers working there were injured. There was a stampede among those present at the spot. People in the vicinity also gathered outside the Voice Hearing Factory after the incident. People informed the police about the incident immediately after the incident. All the injured workers have since been admitted to Apollo Burn Hospital and Star Hospital for treatment where they are undergoing treatment. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and are investigating the incident. He is also getting information from the employees present in the factory.
A total of nine workers were reportedly injured in the incident. Four of them sustained minor injuries, while five workers were burnt to death. The condition of one of the labourers is said to be extremely serious which has been severely burnt. All of these are undergoing treatment.
