These days divorce is very common and these divorces gave birth to the debate of Alimony. Celebrity divorces never fail to get public attention and the amount of alimony is always a topic of discussion. Sometimes, it's for love, other times it's the divorce alimony that catches the public eye. Some people believe alimony is wrong when women are also earning meanwhile some advocates alimony.
On Thursday, September 8, Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar reached a settlement for alimony and maintenance during mediation proceedings in Delhi's Saket court. Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar got married in 2011. Last year, Shalini approached the Tis Hazari Court in Delhi and filed a case of domestic violence against Singer alongside a compensation of ₹20 crores.
Honey Singh paid ₹1 crore as alimony to Salini. He was seen handing over a sealed envelope containing a cheque as the settlement amount to finalize their divorce. It’s to be believed that both of them are quite content with their decision. More than divorce the amount of alimony catches the eye of people. . Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan: The Duo moved forward and their life and shares a good bond. Sussanne received alimony of Rs 400 Crores, which after negotiation came down to Rs 380 Crores as per reports. At present Hrithik dating, Saba Khan and Sussanne is also moved forward.
Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan: Similar to Hrithik and Sussanne, Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan are also moved forward in their life. They were married for 13 years after the two dated for about 5 years. The two decided to part ways and reportedly Malaika took alimony of Rs 10 to 15 crore. Malaika and Arbaaz's son Arhaan stays with his mom.
Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani Farhan Aktar is now married to Shibani Dandikar. Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani ended their 16-year-old marriage in 2016 and reportedly the actor paid a one-time alimony amount to his ex-wife instead of a monthly allowance. If reports are to be believed then Adhuna kept the 10,000 sq feet mansion, Vipassana. However, the amount of alimony is not disclosed.
Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur: Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur ended their 13-year-old marriage and reportedly the actress transferred the ownership of Sunjay's father's residence in Mumbai to her name. The actress is single and leaving a happy life. She reportedly receives a monthly interest of Rs 10 lakh from bonds worth Rs 14 crore that Sunjay had bought in their children's names
