Richa Chadha is facing criticism because of her one controversial tweet. Various people called it insulting to the Indian Army. Richa Chadha is yet again under the radar after she posted a tweet on the 2020 Galwan clash, in which several Indian Army soldiers died. Various celebrities took to social media to give their opinion on the controversy.
Comedian Paresh Rawal tweeted, “Indian armed forces. Aap hain to hum hai (we live because you are there).” Many reacted to the veteran actor’s tweet. One wrote, “Why do you want to stop citizens from mentioning Galwan valley…” Another one said, “We salute Army sir… But please don’t do politics on this...”
Earlier Akshay Kumar wrote, "Hurts to see this. Nothing ever should make us ungrateful towards our armed forces. Woh hain toh aaj hum hain (they are there so we exist)."
Vivek Agnihotri wrote, “Bollywoodiyas are the first to stand up against establishment, oppression and authority. They are also the first to kneel down in front of Bollywood’s corrupt establishment. But they have cheeks to question our great Army."
Anupam Kher wrote, “Desh ki burai karke kuch logon ke beech lokpriya hone ki koshish karna kayar aur chote logon ka kaam hai. Aur sena ke samman ko daav par lagana… isse zyada sharmnaak aur kya ho sakta hai (trying to become popular among some people by talking badly about your country is the work of cowards and small people. And putting the honour of the army at stake... what can be more shameful than this).”
Famous villain of South Industry and Bollywood Prakash Raj reacted to Akshay`s tweet and came in support of Richa Chadha, "Didn`t expect this from you @akshaykumar..having said that @RichaChadha is more relevant to our country than you sir. #justasking." Prakash Raj also came in support of Richa and wrote, "Yes we stand with you @RichaChadha... we understand what you meant."
