BREAKING NEWS! A Vistara flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Mumbai received a bomb threat on Friday, prompting a thorough search. Vistara confirmed that a security concern was raised by the crew on flight UK 552 on June 28, 2024.

Following standard protocol, the aircraft alerted the relevant authorities and was directed to an isolation bay upon safely landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. All passengers were safely disembarked.

"We are fully cooperating with security agencies to conduct the necessary security checks. At Vistara, the safety and security of our customers, crew, and aircraft are our top priorities," the airline stated.

A note stating "bomb on board" was discovered by a crew member, according to an official from Sahar police station.

Passengers were informed of the threat after landing, and a thorough search of both passengers and their luggage is ongoing. So far, nothing suspicious has been found.
