Mumbai: The Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court has dismissed the FIR lodged against 29 Tablighi Jamaat. An FIR was lodged against these Tablighi deposits for the involvement of Nizamuddin Markaz of Delhi in a function. A case under IPC, Epidemic Diseases Act, Maharashtra Police Act, Disaster Management Act and Foreign Civil Act was registered.

Now, the court ordered the cancellation of the FIR, taunting the media. The court says that Tablighi Jamaat was made a 'scapegoat'. The media ran the propaganda, calling these people responsible for spreading the infection. The High Court while hearing the case said, 'Propaganda was carried out on a large scale in print and electronic media against the indigenous and foreign Tligi Jamaatis who had joined Nizamuddin Markaz of Delhi. Attempts were made to make these deposits responsible for the spread of corona infection in the country. Tablighi Jamaat was made a scapegoat.

The court also said that the statistics of the fast spreading infection in the country show that action should not be taken against these people. Wrong action was taken against foreigners. Positive steps need to be taken to compensate him.
