One of the most awaited movies Laal Singh Chaddha is in trouble as people are very disappointed with the old statements of Aamir Khan. An old video of Aamir Khan saying India India's growing intolerance is doing rounds on social media. Some of Kareena's controversial statements from the past have also been surfacing online. In the past also Amir Khan has given some controversy due to which Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha is trending on Twitter.

In an earlier interview, Aamir Khan said, "Our country is very tolerant, but there are people who spread ill-will". His wife Kiran Rao also made headlines for saying that she considered leaving the country for the safety of their children.

In a recent interview Aamir Khan was asked about these trends of Boycotting Laal Singh Chaddha and do this affect him the actor said,  “Yes, I feel sad. Also, I feel sad that some of the people who are saying this, in their heart, they believe that I am someone who doesn't like India. In their hearts they believe, but it is untrue. It is rather unfortunate that some people feel that way. That's not the case. Please don't boycott my film. Please watch my film.”

Speaking about Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Mona Singh and Chaitanya Akkineni.  Advait Chandan directorial also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh. Laal Singh Chaddha was earlier scheduled for Baisakhi release, but the makers postponed the film's release date to August 11, 2022.
