Paris: The #boycottfrance is trending on Twitter following the controversy over the cartoons of Prophet Mohammed. Islamic countries have opened a front against France on Twitter following a controversial statement by French President Emmanuel Macron. There is a campaign to boycott all French products on social media. On the other hand, the boycott of the products has been termed as Turkey's propaganda by France.

"Islam is a religion that is in crisis all over the world today," said French President Emmanuel Macron last Friday, adding that the hashtag #BoycottFrenchProducts, #BoycottFranceProducts, #boycottfrance #boycott_French_products #ProphetMuhammad has been trending on Twitter since the French president's statement. In many countries, social media users are campaigning on Twitter and Facebook.

French President Emmanuel Macron has urged him to stop the boycott of his products, describing it as Turkey's propaganda. He has said that the aim is to spread hatred in the world. "Many countries in the Middle East are urged to boycott French products and demonstrate against France," the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement. This is nothing but spreading hatred by social media," he said.
