An earthquake of 3.6 magnitude of on Richter scale, sent ripples through the tranquil landscapes of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. On the 27th of October, this seismic disturbance disrupted the serenity of the region, prompting the National Center for Seismology (NCS) to issue an official statement.

According to the NCS, the seismic event took place at approximately 10:15 AM local time, with its epicenter situated at a depth of 5 kilometers beneath the Earth's surface. This event was relatively modest in magnitude, but it did not go unnoticed by the residents and the NCS monitoring stations.

In a concise and informative tweet, the NCS shared the details of the occurrence, stating, "Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.6, Occurred on 27-10-2023 at 10:15:37 IST, Latitude: 27.32 & Longitude: 92.01, Depth: 5 Km, Location: 31km SSE of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh."
