KATHMANDU: A Saurya Airlines aircraft has crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. The incident occurred as the plane was taking off for Pokhara. Fortunately, the aircraft was not carrying any passengers; it was only transporting a few technical staff members, according to Gyanendra Bhul, the information officer at TIA.

The crash resulted in visible smoke from the aircraft. Firefighters and security personnel are on the scene working to manage the situation. 

According to South Asia Time, a Saurya Airlines aircraft skidded off the runway during takeoff at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, resulting in a dramatic crash. The plane burst into flames immediately after the incident.

Emergency response teams, including firefighters and security personnel, have quickly arrived on the scene. Their primary tasks are to extinguish the fire and search for any survivors. Further details will be released as the situation develops.
