The Delhi Police and the SIT, which is probing the allegations of women wrestlers, reached Vishnoharpur on Sunday night. Vishnoharpur under Nawabganj police station in Gonda district is the ancestral home of the BJP MP accused of sexual abuse. Police have recorded the statements of 12 people there.   These include close relatives, associates and security personnel of MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Kaiserganj MP and former WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh works to conduct political activities in Vishnoharpur village. The SIT, which is investigating the case, has already recorded the statements of 125 witnesses.  

Let us know that on Monday, this number has reached 137. The SIT probing the sexual abuse case has already recorded statements of people in Gonda district. The SIT is probing the allegations of wrestling in the country as well as abroad. However, the police department officials are trying to avoid saying anything in this matter.  

A close aide of the MP, on the condition of anonymity, also confirmed that the Delhi Police had visited Bishnoharpur. Superintendent of Police Akash Tomar said that this large-scale action has been started, gonda police has no involvement in it. A person from the village has said that the Delhi Police has also taken a statement. Apart from name, address and mobile, the investigating team has also collected identity cards as evidence collection.
