LONDON: British MP Bob Blackman has also endorsed the Modi government's decision to remove Section 370 of the Constitution from Jammu and Kashmir. MP Blackman has also written a letter to British PM Boris Johnson in this regard. He said, the Government of India has followed the constitutional process in removing Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. He also wrote that Jammu and Kashmir is part of India and it is also an internal matter of India.
In a letter to PM Boris Johnson, British MP Bob Blackman said he had seen several Labour Party MPs sharing provocative letters in connection with the decision of Section 370 removed from Jammu and Kashmir. "I would like to say that any constitutional reshuffle is an internal issue of India. I would also like to say that we have an agreement that we will not interfere in any kind of internal affairs of any third country. Especially when it's a case of our old relationship like India.
On the other hand, Pakistan, which has been isolated around the world on the Kashmir issue, has also received a setback from the US. Pakistani Pm Imran Khan had called US President Donald Trump ahead of the UN Security Council meeting. His aim was to seek support from Trump. But Pak PM Imran Khan got a two-pronged reply from Donald Trump. Donald Trump asked him to resolve his issues through bilateral talks.
