McLaren to enter the Indian market! British luxury supercar maker McLaren Automotive confirmed this Tuesday its imminent entry into the Indian major market marking it the brand’s 41st global territory. McLaren's debut in India constitutes the marque's global expansion ambitions and extends the brand's growing footprint in the Asia Pacific region, with the launch of the first retail shop McLaren Mumbai in October. McLaren's supercars and hypercars are conceived at the historic McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey, south of London, and hand-built at the adjacent McLaren Production Centre. Bruce McLaren, a racer, engineer, and entrepreneur, started the corporation about six decades ago.

The first retail presence in the country, set to formally open in Mumbai in the third quarter of 2022, will give the immersive McLaren brand experience with a direct window into Woking, where every McLaren is handcrafted. It will also give full levels of assistance to consumers, including sales, aftersales, and services on the entire range of McLaren cars.

The supercar manufacturer will offer its whole model lineup to Indian buyers, including the McLaren GT and the Artura, the marque's first high-performance hybrid. The acclaimed 720S Coupe and Spider models, as well as the 765LT Coupe and Spider as the latest addition to the LT product family, round out the core supercar lineup.

“We welcome Lalit Choudary of McLaren Mumbai to the expanding retailer network here in the Asia Pacific region. India remains an important market where our fans and select clientele can enjoy the best of McLaren in Mumbai. Looking ahead, we will shortly welcome the Artura to India, the all-new high-performance hybrid supercar,” said Paul Harris, Managing Director – APAC and China, McLaren Automotive.
