Recently, a case of crime has come to light from Nooribathan village of Masanjore police station area in Dumka district of Jharkhand. The angry younger brother has beaten his sister to death with sticks for not paying money for alcohol. It is also reported that Babudhan Hembram had been living in the village of Nooribathan, the father-in-law of his elder sister Lukhi Hembram (45), for the past one year.

However, this case cannot be termed as the first such case as there have been many cases that have been shocking in the past. In this case, it is reported that Babudhan asked for money from his sister for drinking alcohol and he beat up Lukhi and escaped.

Sources said, the police, who arrived on the spot, have sent the body to Dumka Sadar Hospital for postmortem and police are conducting searches at all possible locations to arrest Babudhan. These cases are on the rise nowadays and the crime is getting worse due to these cases.
