Thane: A tragic incident has come to light from Maharashtra. A man attacked his wife, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law with a sharp weapon in a Thane village here. The sister-in-law died on the spot as she was seriously injured in the incident. The injured mother-in-law and wife are undergoing treatment at the hospital. The culprit has been arrested by the police.
The same murder took place at Sunset Height on Jambhala Road in Badlapur village. Farida Syed lives on the second floor of the building with her two daughters Nilofer and Sanobar. Nilofar's younger son also lives with them. Nilofar was married to Mohammed Shaikh, also a resident of Mumbai. But due to a property dispute, she was living in her maternal home separately from her husband for a long time. At around 6 am on Tuesday, Mohammad Sheikh reached his in-laws. He knocked on the gate. Hearing the sound, wife Nilofer opened the gate. Husband Mohammad Sheikh was standing in front. Before Nilofar could understand anything, her husband Mohammad Sheikh attacked Nilofar with a sharp weapon. Hearing Nilofar's screams, sister Sanobar and mother Farida rushed out of their room. Mohammed Sheikh was attacking Nilofar with a weapon. Sanobar came in the middle to save the sister. Angry Mohammed also stabbed her several times with a weapon. Sanobar, who was in a pool of blood, died on the spot. The criminal, Mohammad Sheikh, also attacked his mother-in-law Farida and also caused serious injuries to her.
Hearing the same screams, people living in the neighborhood also woke up. Everyone showed alacrity and caught the culprit. Later, Badlapur village police station was informed about the incident. The police reached the spot and arrested the culprit. The body of the deceased Sanobar has been sent for post-mortem and the injured mother-daughter has been taken to the hospital for treatment. Senior police inspector Datta Gawade of Badlapur village said the criminal, Mohammed Shaikh, earlier worked in Dubai. Because of this, his wife Nilofer was not happy. Then she separated from her husband and started living in her maternal home. Apart from this, there was a dispute between the two over the property of the Jogeshwari area. Due to this, the criminal attacked the family. The sister-in-law died in the incident. The wife and mother-in-law are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
