New Delhi: BSF IG has given Rs 10 lakh help to the Border Security Force (BSF) soldier whose house was burnt to ashes during the violence that broke out in Khajuri Khas in north-east Delhi, the country's capital. On Monday, IGD K Upadhyay gave a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to Mohammed Anees at the BSF headquarters in Delhi.

BSF will also rebuild their house. Earlier, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik on Sunday gave assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the BSF soldier. Patnaik has sanctioned Rs 10 lakh to the constable from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Anees has also returned from Odisha to his home in Delhi. They are posted in the ninth battalion of the Border Security Force serving in the Maoist affected district of Malkangiri district of Odisha.

BSF Constable Mohammad Anees, whose house was set on fire during the violence in Delhi, has returned from his home in Odisha. He was posted in Odisha itself. While returning and talking to the press, he said, "The Director-General of BSF, Inspector General, and Deputy Inspector General are all helping me a lot. I feel very proud to be a member of the BSF family."
