Early Saturday, the Border Security Force (BSF) opened fire on a drone flying into Indian territory near Rajoke village in Bhikhiwind subdivision, near the Pakistan border. The BSF stated in a statement that around 2 a.m., alert troops from the 103 Battalion noticed a humming and buzzing sound in the air near Rajoke BoP.

They shot at the flying object despite the fact that a check of the vicinity revealed nothing suspicious. Rajoke was in the news in 2019 when Punjab Police found for the first time that drones were being used by Pakistan to smuggle arms and ammunition through the BoP.

In September 2019, police busted a Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) module, arresting four people. The accused was found with five AK-47 rifles, 16 magazines, and 472 rounds of ammunition, four China-made pistols, eight magazines, and 72 rounds of ammunition, nine hand grenades, five satellite phones, auxiliary equipment, two mobile phones, two wireless sets, and ten lakh in stolen currency.
