BSP chief Mayawati has also demanded that the sacrifice of police personnel be investigated under the supervision of the Supreme Court after raiding the house of Vikas Dubey on the night of 2-3 July in Kanpur. Mayawati said that Uttar Pradesh can be crime-free only with such efforts. Bahujan Samajwadi Party supremo Mayawati has raised questions over the death of Vikas Dubey in an encounter with STF. She has demanded that the investigation of encounter under the supervision of a judge of the Supreme Court.

BSP chief Mayawati has made 2 tweet about this. Vikas Dubey was arrested in Ujjain on Thursday. Mayawati tweeted after being taken into custody. Mayawati wrote that Vikas Dubey, the main accused who killed a policeman in Kanpur, was shot dead by the Uttar Pradesh police on the overturning of a police car while bringing from MP to Kanpur. He also said that this matter should be investigated under the supervision of the Supreme Court so that the families of the 8 policemen who were martyred in the Kanpur massacre can get justice.
