Some BSP MLAs have spoken on Tuesday morning when they met the top leadership of the SP. The meeting is considered important for the Legislative Council elections and the 2022 Assembly elections. More importantly, there are 5 MLAs who have already been expelled by the BSP.

Samajwadi Party sources said, the top leadership of the SP is already being negotiated by BSP MLAs some time ago. Senior party functionaries have reached Lucknow from Delhi late on Monday evening. The meeting has been outlined in the night itself. Four other MLAs of the party have met the expelled MLAs before the BSP around 9.00 am. After which all of them came together to meet the SP leadership.

Doubts on joining the party: BSP, doubts have been raised about the mlas joining the Samajwadi Party. Defections are a hurdle in the way of these laws. It SP legislature stake dispersal cannot even join the board. For which the letter has to be submitted to the Speaker of the Assembly first. In such a situation, the strategists of the SP want that there should be no hurdles before the Legislative Council elections. The Legislative Council is likely to take the next step forward only after the elections. After getting the support of BSP MLAs, Samajwadi party will easily win 3 legislative council members.
