India's leading automobile manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is preparing to bring the BS6 model of its popular bike Splendor iSmart 110. This bike will be the first BS6 model of the company. Dispatch has started for the new Splendor Hero dealership. Right now it is being transported to the dealership for training and other bike-related information.
Sources say that it will be launched soon. A person associated with the development of the bike told ET that BS6 Splendor iSmart 110 was dispatched earlier this week and some dealerships will start arriving soon. If we talk about the Splendor iSmart 110, then it will be the first BS6 model of the company. It will cost more than the current Splendor iSmart 110 bike. A source said that the price of BS6 Splendor iSmart 110 will be 12-15% more than the current model. This means that the new bike will be expensive at about 6-7 thousand rupees. Right now the starting price of this bike is Rs 56,280.

For your information, let us know that in June, Hero MotoCorp had obtained BS6 certificate from the International Center for Automotive Technology (ICAT) for this bike. With this, it became the first two-wheeler company in the country to get BS6 certificate. The BS6 Splendor iSmart 110 has been designed and developed at CIT (Center of Innovation and Technology), a company based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, at the Richters and Development Hub.
Let us know that BS6 emission norms will be implemented from April 2020. The current model of Splendor iSmart 110 has a 109.15 cc, air-cooled engine. This engine generates power of 9.4 hp at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is equipped with a 4-speed gearbox. The power output of BS6 model is also being speculated to be equal to the current model.
