New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha has been adjourned until tomorrow, Friday, February 4, while the Lok Sabha resumed its session at 4 p.m.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the two Houses have arranged their sessions at different times to ensure social distance.
Earlier in the day, Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu praised the members of Parliament for a "disruption-free" day in the House on Wednesday during the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President, and expressed the hope that the mood would continue throughout the session.
The President's address started off the 2022 Budget Session of the Parliament on January 31. The first half of the budget session runs from January 31 to February 11, while the second half runs from March 14 to April 8.
